Director Srinath’s ‘Muthirai’, which features Daniel Balaji and Nithin Sathya in the lead, is all set to hit screens tomorrow. The film, which created a lot of buzz for its item number with Rakhi Sawant, has cleared the Censor Board with a clear A Certificate.

The movie is the story of two cons, one sophisticated and one unskilled, played by Daniel and Nithin respectively. Lakshmi Rai and Manjari Phadnis provide the extra oomph that Rakhi Sawant won’t, in her item number.

It is said that the Censor Board wanted a few cuts in the film to award it a U/A Certificate, but the director, who believed that the scenes were shot aesthetically and were important to the film, insisted on having the scenes instead.

The film is being produced by Aneez, wife of late director Jeeva, under the banner Vision Jeeva studios, along with ASA Productions.
